1. Locate database with phpMyAdmin

In cPanel, launch phpMyAdmin. In the left pane are the databases. Expand the tree to view tables.

2. Run a query to extract all the data.

Compose an SQL statement to obtain all the data in the two tables.

3. View then export results.

The rows of data can be viewed and checked in phpMyAdmin.

Now the results need to be exported. Under these rows is the Export button to choose.

4. Export as CSV file for viewing in Excel (or OO Calc).

phpMyAdmin advises that your (Export) query was successfully executed.

Now we customise the output. Choose output Format as CSV for MS Excel and

(a) Replace NULL with nothing

(b) Check "Put columns names in the first row.

5. Download and view the exported CSV file.

The option to view or save the file is given -

The file is saved in the Downloads folder. Use OO Calc to open it for viewing.

Calc offers options for importing.

The data is looking good in the preview area so click OK.
